Born Melbourne, 1961
Lisa's art is a whimsical interpretation of wildlife and flora. She examines nature and the connection we feel in our collective imaginations.
"I choose my subjects as metaphors for human emotions and experiences. I like to challenge the viewer to feel a recognition and sense of wonder in the natural world."
Trained as a graphic designer, Lisa has practiced art for all of her life. She has been painting for the past 20 years, has exhibited in many group shows and her art is held in private collections. Lisa's latest work is an exploration in mixed media, using her own photographs and encounters with her subjects as inspiration.
