Ocean - Set Of 3 Triptych by Inese Edwards

Features

ARTIST NOTES: These are a set of 3 acrylic abstract ocean pieces on stretched canvas. Each canvas is 25 x25 cms , but as they are a set, I have shown the total measurement of the 3 in a line as 75cms. They are done in a fluid acrylic style showing my current favoured technique of cell type structures/ bubbles. They have a slim wooden edge, to me , like a driftwood colour giving a rustic feel. The canvas edge is 3.5 cm wide. These could of course be hung to suit the space or eye -- lengthways across, or downwards, or as shown in the photo. ARTIST BIO

 Inese Edwarsa - Melbourne Artistst

I have worked with various media including pastels, water colour , and particularly oils.  I have also  tried other media in the form of resin paints, acrylics and alcohol inks, which lend themselves perfectly to abstract work. I have really enjoying painting pieces in fluid acrylics creating organinc and cell like structures and experimenting with the magical effects of these.

Currently I am fascinated with Australian eucalyptus trees , flowers and seed pods , which are particularly beautiful and I paint these in oils.

I also like to paint close up images of flowers and fruits and I like the effect of shine and transparency and light, sun and shadows. I like bold colours and abstract shapes and forms, and the abstract flow of paint and the surprises it leads me to.

I also like to do smaller pieces  and designs which I call minis, and creating hand painted mini pieces for greeting cards. A lot of my art and designs can be viewed on Instagram under @artplusart_inese.edwards

My work can also be found on Pinterest under Inese Edwards.

I have exhibited my paintings in approximately 23 shows including Melbourne and regional.
